PIRCH

CHALLENGE

PIRCH (formerly Fixtures Living), a young and innovative brand, features best-in-class products for kitchen, bath and outdoor environments. FITCH was asked to think beyond the stagnant paradigms of the appliance industry and design an experiential prototype.
Driven by low-price tactics, and often set in warehouse environments that do little to inspire or educate a customer on what or why to buy, FITCH’s research revealed a need for a place where consumers can dream, use and choose products that bring joy to their lives.

INSIGHT

The charge was to create a groundbreaking retail experience that engages the senses, fires the imagination and brings joy into the lives of the people who visit. FITCH did just that.

SOLUTION

A multi-sensory experience focused on how people want to live, rather than what they want to buy. Greeted with coffee in hand, guests are invited to explore working vignettes. They might even choose to cook side-by-side with the in-house chef, or walk under a cascade of water in the private spa. PIRCH not only inspires, it educates.
The first FITCH-designed store in Costa Mesa has been honored with more than a dozen major design awards. PIRCH’s newest store at Glendale Galleria, Los Angeles, sits beneath Bloomingdale’s. It includes an in-store boutique featuring limited-edition merchandise specially curated by FITCH to inspire joyful moments at home. Look for new locations in upscale centers across the country.
